 Heavy Data Entry, eCommerce listings – Full Time Position

Job Description:

We are looking for a full time eCommerce data entry/sales associate that can inventory, describe, categorize, and list hundreds of consumer electronics for us. This position will rely heavily on computer skills such as typing, navigating windows based inventory systems.

Hours available:

40 hours available. For the right candidate 55+ hours available with overtime at time and 1/2 after 40 hours.

Typical hours are 8am-5pm or 10am-6pm Monday-Friday 10am-4pm Saturdays. Possible longer and Sunday hours available.

Daily responsibilities include:

– Inventorying, listing/describing/data entry: a set amount of items for our company (generating item titles, descriptions, and photographs)
– Some phone help when needed.
– Some picking inventory from containers/warehouse when needed.

Candidate must:

– Have 2-3+ years experience selling on eCommerce platforms such as eBay and Amazon.
– Be able to type quickly and accurately. 60+WPM required.
– Have general experience with consumer electronics (tablets, laptops, smartphones).
– Have a strong worth ethic, get it done attitude.
– Willing to work long hours to hit quotas, have the ability to be self managed.
– Have a professional demeanor, be punctual.

Job Description:

Our new and used high volume electronics retail store in Massapequa is growing! If you love electronics, and love interacting and helping people find the electronics that best suit their needs – this position is for you!

We are looking for part time retail help in our Massapequa electronics store. This position will require a tech savvy, consumer electronics knowledgeable candidate that has an above and beyond attitude to help our customers have the best shopping experience possible.

Candidate must:

– Have documented previous retail experience with reference.
– A love for consumer electronics and electronics experience a must – (smartphones, tablets, laptops, game systems, games, etc)
– Be able to assist multiple customers in a busy retail setting.
– Have a professional demeanor
– Be well spoken an able to communicate with customers clearly – Bi-Lingual Spanish a plus!
– Have a strong work ethic, and be a team player.
– Be tech savvy, and able to quickly update inventory prices, descriptions, quantities on our point of sale system.
– Be highly organized.

Daily responsibilities include:

– Greeting customers and assisting them on finding the best electronics for their needs.
– Updating, revising, modifying and adding inventory to our point of sale system and website. Cleaning and wiping down incoming electronics for sale as needed by store manager. Updating listings for sale on popular selling apps.
– Building relationships with customers, closing the retail sale and providing excellent customer service both pre and post-sale.
– Answering phones, and assisting manager with customer service-related tasks
– Taking on organizational tasks given by the retail store manager, inventory, and seasonal promotions etc.
– Keeping the retail store clean, organized and marketable.
