Front Buyer & Seller | Front Retail Consumer Electronics Sales
Join our fast-growing company! We are looking to add an efficient, hard-working individual that will excel in our eCommerce department. If you are tech savvy, energetic, love sales, love speaking/building relationships with customers while buying and selling a wide range of today’s hottest electronics [closing deal after deal], such as iPhones and MacBooks, to Nintendo 64 consoles and games, this position is for you. This position is a heavy-sales, people person, and tech savvy position. Your main responsibilities are buying, selling and relationship building with on-the-go data entry and closing sale after sale. This is a fast paced, exciting front-end position: no day in a PayMore Store is ever the same.
Job Description:
This is a heavy sales and people person position. You will build relationships with customers throughout the day, and close multiple sales all day buying, selling and trading. You will identify and test a wide range of consumer electronics from our customers varying from broken iPhones to retro gaming systems and everything in between. You will consult with customers looking to purchase, and trade devices.
Buying & Trading: You will determining pricing for a wide range of electronics from smartphones, tablets, laptops, game systems and more through our software, and referencing additional resources provided. You must have the ability to negotiate pricing with our customers while keeping a professional attitude, demeanor and business acumen. This position is front-facing and you will be representing our business.
Selling: You will quickly position yourself as the electronic expert to our customers looking to purchase preowned devices from us with warranties. You will guide them, and build a relationship with them while ringing in sales and upselling.
*You must be natural in sales, a fast accurate typer, who has extensive consumer electronics knowledge [ongoing too] that loves sales and high paced environments. For the right candidate, this position is a gateway incentives, bonuses, and management positions.
Daily responsibilities include:
– Greeting new customers, building relationships with new and existing customers.
– Quickly bench testing electronic devices that come in for trade or sale (smartphones, tablets, laptops, game systems, video games, misc devices).
– Quickly searching through our POS system for values of these devices, and other means of information for pricing, product info, selling trends and more.
– Making on the spot decisions based off your analysis to purchase or offer trade for the devices
– Deliver and negotiate offers for cash payments and trade offers with the customers in a professional and confident manner.
– Have ongoing consumer electronics knowledge such as products, selling trends, features and more to explain the offer to the customer if need be.
– Create accurate intake records by inventorying the devices in our POS system.
– Pay the customer and build a relationship.
Candidate must:
- 5+ years of previous electronics experience, or a lifelong love and ability to impress with consumer electronic knowledge.
- 2+ years of general sales experience is required.
- 2 + years of eBay selling experience.
- Must be able to communicate with customers, while typing a minimum of 70WPM with top accuracy.
- Must have excellent electronics knowledge and handling of smartphones, tablets, laptops, game systems – e.g., data wiping smartphones, removing iCloud accounts, testing game systems, Windows use, MacOS use.
- Must be able to quickly identify, test, and assess a wide variety of consumer electronics while still communicating with customers in a high paced environment.
- Must be a people person, ability to befriend, relate, and build relationships with all types of customers.
- Ability to remain focused in a high volume/fast paced environment.
- Ability to adapt from customer to customer, situation to situation.
- Must be able to type quickly and accurately. Accuracy is paramount as you will be entering in final records of purchase. 70+ WPM required typing test.

Compensation Range: $15-$25/hr + overtime at time and a half + bonuses/incentives.

Job Description:
We are looking for a full time eCommerce data entry/sales associate that can inventory, describe, categorize, and list hundreds of consumer electronics for us. This position will rely heavily on computer skills such as typing, navigating windows based inventory systems. Your position will be to process devices that become available for sale in our location. Little to no customer interaction is required, this is a back-end processing position of which you will have your own workspace and work collaboratively with other back-end processing staff. So, if you’re looking to ‘wire in’ and work quickly and accurately, this position is for you.
*You must be a fast typing, tech savvy team player, who shows grave attention to detail and love electronics, while being able to align with our strict data privacy standards.
Daily responsibilities include:
– Testing, wiping and cleaning electronic devices for sale (smartphones, tablets, laptops, game systems, video games, miscellaneous devices).
– Searching online listings for device selling points, pricing, and trends.
– Searching for product information.
– Generating eCommerce listings: item titles, descriptions, categories, price setting, based off previous research.
– Promptly and professionally answering customer service via eCommerce emails, messaging.
– Maintaining eCommerce accounts to the highest top rated standards.
Candidate must:
– 5+ years of experience selling on the eBay.com platform (creating listings, shipping, customer service, referencing pricing, and more).
– 2+ years of Shopify experience (creating products, navigating Shopify).
– Have extensive consumer electronic experience, knowledge and love (gaming, smartphones, tablets, laptops).
– Ability to identify, test, and data clear devices such as smartphones, tablets, laptops, gaming systems and more.
– Must Be able to type quickly and accurately. 70+WPM required.
– Have a strong worth ethic, with a team player and “get it done” attitude.
– Attention to detail, takes pride in their work.
